Strontium Carbonate is an inorganic compound consisting of strontium (Sr²⁺) cations and carbonate (CO₃²⁻) anions.
Chemical Formula: SrCO₃
Appearance:  A white, odorless powder
Uses:
Food Industry: In food products such as baked goods, confectionery, and margarine, stearic acid or its derivatives can be used as emulsifiers or stabilizers to improve the texture, consistency, and shelf-life of food formulations.
Flux and Glaze Component: A common ingredient in glazes for ceramics. It acts as a flux, lowering the melting point of other glaze components and promoting a smooth, glossy finish.
Red Colorant: It is used as a source of strontium for producing a brilliant red color in fireworks and flares.
Rubber Industry: In plastics and rubber manufacturing, stearic acid can serve as a mold release agent or anti-sticking agent.
Additional Applications: In textile coatings and finishes, stearic acid derivatives can be used as water repellents or hydrophobic agents to enhance water resistance and weatherproofing of textile materials.
